Need a last-minute Valentine's Day idea? My son and I made these sweet bookmarks for his class, then taped each one to a piece of chocolate. We cut them from paint color samples from a home improvement store, but you can use construction paper or scrapbook paper instead. We glued each one to a plain white paper backing, trimmed the edges, then punched a hole in the top (with a heart-shaped hole punch) and strung thin ribbon through the hole for a tassel. On the back, write, "You're #1 in my book." Easy to make and not too sappy, your kids and their friends are sure to love them.
